Training rules

1. Village based basic training (VDP men and women):

Objectives: Reconstruction and updating of VDP pasnatun based on village and shelter projects. Socio-economic development through self-employment. Creation of local leadership and establishment of good governance and increase social awareness. Creation of a mass-based trained workforce to protect social security. To maintain law and order, perform electoral duties and other urgent needs, reorganize the postnatun and make them competent to perform professional duties. Involvement in public safety activities. Formation of trained staff to increase social awareness in establishing good governance. Creating leadership qualities and acquiring professional skills in maintaining local law and order.

The rules of training are as follows:

Free training was given to 02 postnatun consisting of 32 men and 32 women from the respective villages.
The training is conducted in a convenient place in the village for 10 (ten) days.
The trainee has to pass at least 8th class.
The minimum age of the trainee is 18 and the maximum is 30 years.
The trainee is given a certificate at the end of the training.
Through this training, VDP male and female posnatuns are formed.
Trainees are paid a fixed rate of allowance.
Basically trained Ansar-VDP members fall under the reserved quota of 10% for 3rd and 4th class of government service.
2. General Ansar Basic Training (Male and Female):

          Objectives: To qualify as an Ansar, to maintain law and order in the country as well as to protect the security of public and private organizations, traffic control, to make people qualified and confident for public safety work.

    The rules of this training are as follows:

Duration of training: 10 weeks
The initial phase of training is conducted for 14 days at the district headquarters and the final phase is conducted at Safipur Ansar-VDP Academy in Gazipur for 06 weeks.
In the light of Ansar Act 1995 and Ansar Bahini Regulations 1996, the person concerned has to complete the following qualifications.
A) Age 18 to 30 years.

B) Educational Qualification Minimum 8th class pass. However, candidates with SSC or above degree are given preference to undergo training.

C) Minimum height 5'-4 "(male) and 5'-0" (female)

(However candidates with height of 5’-6 ”or above are preferred).

D) Sight power: 7/8

During the training, the trainees are provided free accommodation, food and clothing.
Upon successful completion of this training, various government and non-government KPIs / important organizations in the country are involved in security arrangements.
Trainee members are involved for short term in performing Durga Puja, national and local government elections etc.
3. Other vocational training opportunities:

          Creating skilled human resources and self-employment opportunities by providing technical training to Ansar and VDP members. To create employment and financial development by utilizing the acquired skills. To create capacity for financial development by creating employment at home and abroad.

Electrical house wiring training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Mobile phone servicing training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Posnambing and Pipe Fitting Training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Welding 4G training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Tiles setting training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Electrician training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Refrigerator and air conditioner repair training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Sewing and Fashion Design Training (Women)
Sweater knitting training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Motor driving training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Primary health care training (Ansar-VDP men and women).
Basic Laboratory Technician / Cardiology / Oncology Training (Male and Female).
Nakshi Kantha Training (VDP Member).
Sewing Training (VDP Member).


Rules of incorporation of general Ansar:

4. For Ansar members:

After completing 10 weeks of basic training, smart card holders join the Ansar and VDP Central Data Base Panel.
An Ansar member from one district cannot be integrated into his own district.
The District Commandant makes an offer according to the order of the panel of the Central Database and sends an SMS to the mobile of the concerned member. Within 48 hours of receiving the SMS, 6 members write Yes and give the return SMS and the District Commandant issues the order of assimilation.
Ansar members have to have basic training including firing experience for integration.
The following qualifications are required for panel membership in order to become a member
A) Age: 18 to 30 years. Educational Qualification: 8th class pass but preference will be given to those above. Height: 5'-4 "(male), 5'-2" (female) (Preference is given to candidates with higher height.) Marital Status: Both married / unmarried.
